Russian Helicopters will provide repairs for its Mi-17 fleets and spares

Sergei Chemezov, CEO of Rostec State Corporation said at DEFEXPO 2016, "We are excited to be part of India's defence industry which is focusing on modernisation and expansion. India is becoming extremely important from the point of view of geopolitics of Asia," he said.

Sergei said that Rostec will sign a contract with the Indian Government that will establish strong foundations. As per the agreement, the Russian Helicopters will provide repairs for its Mi-17 fleets and also supply spares throughout the entire life cycle of three to five years. Subsidiary of Russian Helicopters will look into after sales and repair services.

"We assure to pursue aggressive after-sales service and collaborate with the Indian government for the maintenance of the machines. We are also considering including the models upcoming in the future," he said.
