Genser logoOn February 19, 2015, Genser Aerospace handed over the conceptual design phase of 2+7 Indian light business jet GLJ3X1 to Mission Aero FI. The well-attended handing over function held at Aero India-2015 had as its chief guest Dr. C.G. Krishnadas Nair, former Chairman of the state-owned Indian aeronautical major, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) and currently President of the Bangalore based Society of Indian Aerospace Technologies and Industries(SIATI). Genjet GLJ 3X1 conceptual document was received by AVM Murali Sundaram, IAF (Retired) on behalf of Aero FI. Genjet GLJ3X1 has been configured as a twin engine light jet capable of cruising at a speed of 0.79 Mach for a range of 2250 nautical miles.
Incidentally, Genjet was originally conceived by Genser as an in-house aircraft design platform for acquiring expertise and experience in the area of design processes for various one-off aircraft and system design projects that Genser has been engaging with. Genser Aerospace is into delivering engineering and strategy consulting services across aviation and aerospace life cycles. Genser had provided consultancy to India’s leading forging company Bharat Forge for its transition into the aerospace sector.
