With an industry-leading cryocooler mean time to failure (MTTF), Neutrino provides a cooled mid-wavelength infrared (MWIR) solution for imaging systems with size, weight, power, and cost (SWaP+C) constraints.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Cooled MWIR camera modules must be designed, tested, and manufactured to meet rigorous environment and reliability requirements. Recognizing that reliability and operational lifetime are predominantly determined by the lifetime of the cryocooler, Teledyne FLIR developed, tested, and manufactures the ruggedized, long-life, FL-100 linear cryocooler for its SWaP-optimized Neutrino MWIR camera modules. Based on lifetime tests and Weibull analysis, the MTTF of the Teledyne FLIR FL-100 cryocooler has increased to approximately 27,000 hours, significantly reducing the cost of ownership for systems using Neutrino.</p>
