MoD and Bharat Electronics Limited have inked a deal to supply Advanced Electronic Warfare suite for fighter aircraft of IAF

The Ministry of Defence (MoD) and Bharat Electronics Ltd, Hyderabad signed a contract for Instrumented Electronic Warfare Range (IEWR), on 29 March 2022, for the Indian Air Force to enhancing the capabilities of IAF to prepare for future warfare.

The overall cost of the contract is estimated to be Rs 1109 crore.

The IEWR will be used to test and evaluate airborne Electronic Warfare (EW) equipment and validate their deployment in an Operational Scenario.
