Zeus Numerix, an innovative Indian defense startup, has successfully conducted trials for its UAV-dropped munitions, utilizing an in-house developed Ejector Rack Unit (ERU). This system can carry varying payloads, with a maximum capacity of 55 kg and six distinct munitions types ranging from 2 kg to 25 kg, demonstrating a 20-meter accuracy from 500 meters. The trials, monitored by the Indian Army, were conducted at multiple altitudes, indicating its operational effectiveness in diverse environments, including high-altitude regions like the Himalayas. This advancement signifies a critical step in enhancing India’s UAV combat capabilities and reflects the country’s commitment to military modernization and self-reliance in defense technology.
