This lightweight, modular weapon, designed for close-range combat, features advanced technologies like laser designators and silencers, making it ideal for counterinsurgency operations in challenging terrains like Chhattisgarh. The JVPC replaces older 9mm submachine guns, offering superiority in firepower and adaptability, thus enabling Indian forces to gain a tactical advantage over Naxal insurgents and improving their operational effectiveness in guerrilla warfare scenarios. The JVPC exemplifies India’s commitment to self-reliance in defense technology.
